A native Californian, Ms. Kuhlman has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area for most of her life.  She is a founding principal, president and licensed California Landscape contractor (C-27) at the Urban Water Group, Inc. a Landscape Architecture firm which has received American Society of Landscape Architects awards for both residential landscapes and water conservation demonstration gardens.

She has been a Landscape designer and a certified UCLA horticulturist for 23 years.  Founder of Comfort Zones Garden Design, has designed award winning landscapes with rainwater harvesting, designed LEED for Home Landscapes, and is a Landscape consultant for the City of Santa Monica.  Ms. Kuhlman is also a founding member of G3LA, LLC where she participated in development and instruction of training courses for homeowners and professionals.  

She is an international speaker on water conservation and the importance of watershed awareness.
