Amber Tippett is the proprietrix of Sidewalk Poppies Landscape Design based in Long Beach, CA. She has extensive experience in organic horticulture and agriculture, has led several school garden education programs, holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, and an M.S. in Organizational Psychology from Vanguard University.

She is committed to training and development, believing that continued education is a cornerstone of a curiosity-driven and vibrant life. She is a certified Watershed Wise Landscape Professional through Green Gardens Group and enjoys teaching the science and art of conscientious garden design.

Marianne was born to a family of artists and has spent her life exploring creativity in its many facets. In 1999 she discovered the world of landscaping and a new way of expressing herself.
